A Lasting Tribute to Rosana Miller

This page honors the exceptional life and legacy of Rosana Miller, a visionary whose dedication and perseverance profoundly shaped our community. Her tireless efforts to establish and sustain our eruv were part of a greater mission—fostering a more connected and vibrant Jewish community where families could fully embrace Shabbat together. Recognizing her unwavering commitment, we are proud to dedicate the eruv in her memory. From this point forward, it will be known as The Rosana Miller West Valley Eruv.

A Legacy of Dedication and Perseverance

Rosana championed the creation of our eruv, overcoming every obstacle with steadfast belief and clarity of purpose. Her work has had a profound impact on our community, as she recognized its importance for families in the area, observing:

“It’s a miracle that it’s happening. I went into this process with a good feeling. I saw it was going to happen. When? I don’t know. How much? I don’t know. But I was positive it was going to happen.”

“We noticed a lot of women here can’t come to shul because the kids can’t come with carriages. Old men can’t come with a wheelchair or a walker. It’s not a community if the husband can daven but the kids have to stay at home.”

Continuing Her Work

More than a guiding light, Rosana was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her memory is our blessing, and her legacy is our mission.

Rosana’s work was not just a personal mission, but a transformative force for our community. We are committed to maintaining a strong eruv so future generations can experience the same connection and inclusivity she strived for.
